Introduction
PGAnywhere is a desktop virtualization technology which allows you to remotely access the firm’s systems from any computer (PC/Mac) or mobile device (iOS/Android) that is connected to the internet. This landing page provides you all information you need in order to use PGAnywhere.
Access your virtual desktop via VMware Horizon Client
The recommended way to access your virtual desktop is via VMware Horizon Client. The VMware Horizon Client is available for download for various operating systems. Please refer to the download section. After the VMware Horizon Client is installed, this is how you can connect to your virtual desktop:
- Run “VMware Horizon View Client” and connect to one of the global entry points using your Windows credentials (email address and password)
- Provide multi factor authentication
- If you have opted to receive a push notification to confirm your identity, tap "Confirm" in the Microsoft Authenticator app
- If you have opted to provide a one-time-password (6 digits), go to your Microsoft Authenticator app, select your Partners Group account and provide the displayed one-time-password.
- If you have not enrolled yourself with the Microsoft authenticator app yet, follow the procedure as requested by the authentication prompt. In case you're facing issues with this procedure, please approach the IT Service Desk using the contact details below.
- Connect to your virtual desktop
Access your virtual desktop via HTML5 Browser (if client is unavailable)
If you cannot access your virtual client by installing the VMware Horizon Client, e.g. on Internet terminals in airports or hotels, you can use the browser-only access:
- Browse to the HTML Access URL of one of the global entry points
- Click on "VMware Horizon View HTML Access"
- Login using your Windows credentials (email address and password
- Provide multi factor authentication
- If you have opted to receive a push notification to confirm your identity, tap "Confirm" in the Microsoft Authenticator app
- If you have opted to provide a one-time-password (6 digits), go to your Microsoft Authenticator app, select your Partners Group account and provide the displayed one-time-password.
- If you have not enrolled yourself with the Microsoft authenticator app yet, follow the procedure as requested by the authentication prompt. In case you're facing issues with this procedure, please approach the IT Service Desk using the contact details below.
